Default HID kit help

searched, but couldnt find real good information.
seems like a lot of people get Xtreme HID kit from XenonDepot.
i was wondering if there are other aftermarket companies with good HID kits.
im leaning towards XenonDepot Xtreme HId kit, but i hear some people have problems with it. (cutoff lines, off colors, etc) i would like some feedback to help my desicion.

thanks
andrew

oh...one more thing
anyone heard of BAVARIANX (EXCLUSIVE AUTOSPORT)??
http://bavarianx.com/
they quoted me $125 for kit and $70 for installation (even tho its BMW, they said they can do my H11 conversion for 2is. x])
i was sure i was gonna get this one. however, i called and asked them about their brands. they told me they have a shop in china sending them all their stuff (off-brand/no-name brand) and they have digital and analog ballasts depending on the car. im guessing for 2is it will be digital. if anyone knows of this place or has anyinfo from the previous post, can you please tell me??

thanks again
andrew

p.s. my dad is gonna get me a kit for my b-day coming in about a week. my plan is to ask him how much he is willing to spend. if he doesnt mind, then ill ask for XenonDepot or other companies and if he does, ill get it from bavarianx. and if i start having problems *knock on wood* (hopefully i wont have problems for a very VERY long time) i will change to XenonDepot or other companies.

xenondepot.com is a good resource but like many online HID retailers, myself included, we can't offer installation services.

maybe you could do the installation with your dad?

thnx
but my dad loves cars, loves looking at cars, loves seeing nicely tuned cars, but HATES tuning cars. HAHAHAH
he hates how i have an intake and exhaust. but cosmetic stuff, he's somewhat cool with. so i know he wont install with me.
with that said...i dont mind installation. i dont mind paying to get it done, i dont mind doing it myself, i dont mind anything like that. i just want to know some good HID kits that are out there.

Thanks Cliff.

Krapwerdna,

Unfortunately sometimes mistakes happen (I think I know to which post you are referring to). I can assure you that it is an isolated incident and will be taken care of. The impotant thing is that if a problem arises you actually have someone to contact. You will find that many people prefer to deal with CL authorized vendors (especially when buying online) as they will stand behing their products and are there for after sales service/support.

No problems with my Xtreme kit and love that the kit comes with two fused battery lines.

I would also reccomend Xenon Depot. Some cheaper kits like my Zentech Ballasts produce a flicker from time to time. I am not complaining because I got the kit for $100 new and it is a 6k. When this kit dies, I am going with a Phillips ballast like I had on my Infiniti back in 2001.

Both very comparible. Both have excellent service and HIDs. It'll boil down to how much you want to spend IMO

Sorry if I'm thread jacking, but I didnt feel like making ANOTHER HID kit help thread.

I just installed my 3000K HID Fogs and when I turn my fogs on, the passenger side would light up quickly while the driver side would take longer to get yellow. Does anyone know why I'm having this problem.
