Default smokes!

hey guys!

so i know there are a few threads on this but nothing is actually detailed...
i saw that a couple ppl brought the rear tail light smokes off ebay (off firearm) and have fitted them too...
i tried doing it but realized my limited DIY skills would probably have F***'ed it up so I decided to goto a few local tint shops only for ALL of them to say they cant do it because of the contours of the light...

can anyone help me with a more detailed guide of how to follow and define the contours of the light w/o making the smoke tint look ghetto i would GREATLY appreciate it... i figured my best bet is to try it at home... but i am one of those ppl who needs STEP BY STEP instructions!!!!

i would really appreciate it guys
also if you know anyone in Dallas TX or thereabouts that would help/can fit for me that would be great too as i wouldn't mind having someone do it!!

HAHAHHA
i got my tailight smokes from him too.
i got the inside smokes to go on but it took a long *** time. as i tried to put the outer tallights, the little bump killed me. i tried cutting a small triangle where that bump is to make it fit, but even sooi had waaayyyy to many air bubbles. so i just ripped it off. x]
only my inside taillights are smoke. x]

but yea...DIY for these smokes are hard to do because it depends on how you approach putting them on. like me, i tried to cut it a way where it folds on the bump without overlapping but the buldge on the top of the tailights was even harder to put on cleanly.
i like the tint color of firearm tho. you can notice in the daytime that you have smokes and still be able to see your brake lights and stuff. at night....you cant tell that you have smokes. so its practically legal. x]

sorry i couldnt help. just wanted to say that i got my smoke from him and had a hard time too. x]

i think our best bet would be to just paint the smokes on them. but only a few layers. kuz if you get caught for this (not that you will) *knock on wood* you would have to get new taillight covers.
