This morning...
I came to work and a brand new Glacier Frost Metalic was parking right where I normally park. So of course I parked next to him/her to help beauty the parking lot. When I left for lunch a few hours later, the one next to me was gone, and a third GFM was parked a few spots over. I go months w/o seeing another GFM and then in one morning three are lined up. Loves it! So much for the shortage the dealer tried feeding me.

Nothing I find more annoying than getting to my destination and finding that the parking lot is completely full and some idiot has taken up 2 spaces ON PURPOSE! I find it utterly rude, idiotic and just asking to be keyed. I've never keyed any car for doing this but I honestly have no sympathy if it does get keyed.
Just my $0.02.

I take 2 spots sometimes when there are no cars around (and I mean like 10 spaces around). One day however I thought that I made it clear that I claimed both spaces, yet when i get out there is a crap early model civic parked next to me in one of the spots i claimed. I spent 10 min looking for dings lol..
And yes, there still were 10 spots around my car except for that one person.
So make sure if you take both spaces you don't give any room for anyone else (park in the exact middle)

I honestly think that the person who purposely parked next to you, despite having 10 other spots is trying to send you a msg that it's not cool to take up 2 spaces.
There've been times that I'm tempted to leave a note on the double parker's car to say "Learn how to park before you get in the car and drive."

It doesn't seem to matter where I park here in IL. I always get someone that wants to park next to my car. I know my car is great and all...but come on!
Today I ran to the store and parked in the back...place was basically empty! Was in the store for all of 15 minutes to come out and have a beat up Honda CRV parked next to me and of course in the wrong direction. My wife always laughs at me when we get out of places and sees that we walked for no reason
