Navigation won't go into "Night" mode

Hi,

Anyone have this issue? For some strange reason the navigation just stays in "day mode" the whole time. Any help is appreciated.

The car isa 2007 IS350 and it came with navi.

There's a little *** on the driver's side to adjust the brightness of your nav screen. If you have it turned up all the way, it will stay in day mode.

Another possibility is that the "Day Mode" button got selected on the "DISP" screen. If you instruments dim, but not the nav screen, this is the problem. If nothing dims, it's the ****.
