thanks for the extra feedback and info. I am going to take the car to my Tech on Tuesday night and lift the car and see what that is attached to and if we can grind it down. I will post some better pics and let you know if we have success! I sure hope so as i dont want to get the coilovers and spend more $$ as i really like the TeinS springs.

Thanks, If you think of anything else, not new tires, or coilovers in the meantime please send your ideas!

Thanks Again!

I had to cut off that whole tab on both the passenger and driver side to avoid major rubbing in the rear.

Thanks for the feedback. I havent made it to the dealer yet to lift it and look at. Thats good news! I figured that we could remove it from my review.

I am going to try to make it today and will post info on it.

**UPDATE**

We are all good!! I stopped late last nite and had my tech lift the car after hours at the dealer. We shaved off that little tab that was sticking out.

Basically here is what you would need to do. Where the bumper cover meets the rear fender there is a YELLOW clip with a 10mm bolt to hold the clip in place. We removed that and the clip stays in the bumper cover. We removed all of 4mm of the lip that was there. If you remove the felt/liner that is there you can see how this tab/lip from the fender sticks out but does not support anything. After driving last nite and today I had no rub at all!!!

Will post an update in a few weeks to see if I have any trouble spots.

Where there is a will there is a way!!! I am so happy this worked out!

sorry I do not. But the felt that is there comes out really easy along the bumper. there is a plastic tab that runs the bumper that holds it in place. about 1 inch back where the fender and bumper meet there is a bright yellow clip that allows the bumper to be hold onto the same area I am talking about. You just dont need to go that far back. I will try to take a pic of this over the weekend.

Tony221...sorry no pics this weekend! it got cold so next weekend I should be able to since I am painting the calipers and installing new brake pads. Hoping Brian231 and I can do this and post a DIY for the rears for other members.

So far I have had NO issues after several days of driving. Even having 2 people in my back seat yesterday!! NO RUB
