Where did you park by any chance? I go to school in Newark and parking decks are no safer than the streets....some idiot even hit my car (posted thread before). And I don't think it's the "poor" factor that people steal - prob more like for drugs and what not.

I park in Harrison 2-3 times a week in the parking lot near the Path station, which is right next to Newark, so I know the neighborhood. I had a crappy old chevy corsica in college, and someone even broke the window of this car in Providence to steal couple of CDs lying around. It's just bad luck.

Exact same thing happed to me in Center City Phila some years back, just after buying a new 4Runner. Never was never able to get all the glass out of the door.

I go through Newark (airport) almost every month. I refuse to drive and leave my car there. I got my company to let me use a limo service...Thank god.

FYI....Make sure to have the dealer fix it, I had some other company fix mine and they just screwed it up..(making a bad situation even worse)..If Insurance is paying, get it done by Lexus.
