Yeah, it's hard to stay a virgin these days. One error in judgement from either party and the virginity is gone. Young people, especially in this forum, are always rushing, thinking that they are ready, but then they almost always regret it afterwards. It is especially true when alcohol is involved.
But once you get it over with the first time, it becomes much easier the next time it happens. You get experience with the whole process, and you'll probably also be more defensive and have protection.

$5100 in damages. Took it back to the dealer to get fix. So far no probelms yet. We are driving a Galant. Has anyone heard of Diminished Value claim. What it says is, since my car was hit, with a police report, it show up in carfax now. I will not get the same value for my car as if it was not hit. The insurance company should pay me the difference. Called my ins. and they said they never heard of it.

I got $4,000.00 but I had to fight for it because Florida does not have any laws regarding diminished value.
My car had $11K damages which included time on a frame machine and a new fender weld which is very noticeable to car appraisers. My car was also only 4 months old at the time of the accident.
Hope this helps. It is a frustrating experience and I am still stuck with my car because I didn't get enough diminished value money to make up for the steep drop in the trade in value of my car. I will probably lease next time because of this.

I was hit by someone with State Farm, I got an independent appraiser ($400.00) to write up a Diminished Value claim (I used an online service but I don't recommend them when there are people locally that can do it).
