19's or 20's
so the snow is melting and the roads will soon be ready for my IS to get some new shoes. from driving a lowered civic for years with the ****ty streets where im from, i dont intend on lowering the lex. just wondering if 19's would look decent enough to fill up the gap from wheel to fender, or should i go with 20's? i would go test fit some rims on here but am pretty sure no one locally would have a set kickin around to try on. maybe some pics of 19's or 20's on stock suspension would help? would appreciate the feedback y'all!! thx!

At our yesterdays CL meet i had my car next to a pure stocker, same color everything and could you tell my car was dropped? No... I run Eibach Prokit for 350 and 19" rims. BUT my fender gap is nice and would be even 'fuller' if i went for the big tire 'sport' look. Do i wish i went with the 250 springs? Yes but... i feel safe going over bumps/curbs n stuff like that.

I had the same choice to make a while back, 19's or 20's. After looking at all the pics on the "aftermarket wheels" thread, I chose 20"s. I'm glad I did! The 2gen IS looks amazing with 20"s. However, if you do go big, go forged, so you're not adding a ton of weight in all the wrong places.

Since u have an AWD you are going to be riding high on both 19"s and 20"s. I would go with 20"s. Go big or don't do anything at all. I had 19"s on my IS at first than switched to 20"s.
