OP: Sounds like your wife has had a dropped car before... Sorry but I gotta say im with her. The IS already rides rough enough as it is, the last thing I would want to do is make it bounce all over the place like a civic. I have never dropped one of my own cars for fear of blowing the shocks sooner and because I have never liked the ride of others who had.

Coilovers with a kit, and now my wife won't even dare drive my car. Put a set of Work Varianzas on her car less than three months ago and she has managed to scratch 2 out of the four wheels.
Do as your wife says if you share the car. Do what you want if you both have your own cars.
Good Luck,
-Will

You guys are gonna laugh but I don't approve of my own drop.

I have the sports pkg and felt that my ride was already a bit rough. Well rough for a Lexus anyway. But after my Eibach's were put on, I feel like I'm riding in a Civic now. It's just way too harsh for me. I drive an avg 60 miles per day for my job so ride comfort is something that I really need. I'm seriously thinking of putting my stock sport springs back but am hesitant as I do love the look of the lowered stance on the Eibachs.

Comfort vs. looks. Arrrrrrrghhh! What to do???

I sorta feel the same way. I was lookin into getting some sport springs to replace my eibachs because I have this bushing rubbing sound coming from the rear whenever I go over speedbumps that I didn't have before. The place I had them installed checked it out and couldn't find anything wrong. But then again I DO love the lowered stance.

Annoying sound vs. looks!

Do the sports suspension, I did that instead of slamming it down on my own, as I know the limits that come with it.
