i smoke in my ES all the time.
if you do, only roll down your drivers window a tad. and i dont know how the aerodynamics of your vehicle is, but i know that on both generation ES300 the aerodynamics are horrible, and whenever you ash, just about half of the ash comes back inside.
the way i see it is that my car is a regular car. its going to get damages on it no matter what you do or what you try to prevent from happening as long as it is a daily driver. but thats just me. and im not made of money yadda yadda yadda.

i told myself that i will not smoke in my car... however, i did it anyways the second day i had my car i'm from cali and the 405 sucks *** commuting from cerritos to northridge. i need something to do in traffic and thats the only time i do it. windows down all the way during bumper to bumper traffic and i roll it up and leave a tad open when traffic is moving. but for passengers its a definite hell no

I dont smoke at all but let a friend once when we came back from drinking. Found a nice burn in my seat the next day. This was with my old car and never let anyone smoke in it after that. So Hell no is my answer!

Although I haven't been able to kick the habit of smoking yet (not even close), I am able to refrain myself from smoking in my IS (which I have had for nearly a year now), the nicotine levels in my old car would probably let it qualify as a dangerously contaminated zone! The IS's interior is just too good to ruin it by turning it into one big astray!
