Are you referring to the oem bracket because I am using that now. I don't like it because its longer than U.S. plates and sticks out on both sides (very noticeable since my car is white and the bracket is black). I am looking for one that sits flush with the plate, but thanks for the offer.

I really hate that front plates are required in cali. I havent gotten my plates in the mail yet, I am still debating if i should go outlaw style and not put the front plate on

Ive never had one on any of my cars and only been pulled over once for it because I drove through an intersection where there was 5 motorcycle cops on each corner specifically looking for people with no front license plates because they were installing red light camera on that intersection. He gave me a 10 dollar fix-it ticket, said nothing about my front tinted windows and that was that. I paid my 10 buck, put my front plate on, got it approved then drove home and took it back off. That was about 3 years ago in my 03 accord coupe, and Ive never been bothered since about it.

Buy a plain frame and bring the OEM bracket to a local body shop and have them paint it... If you must have a front plate, it's the way to go. I have a 2006 white (062) IS250 that has a painted front bracket. ill post a pic later when im out of work.

That's a very clean installation! Personally, I don't think it is that big a deal to have a front plate on the car if it is done right, or with some style. Unfortuanately most people don't think about it and just slap the raggedy edged plate on the front and back of their cars. Or use the dealer advertised plate that comes with the car, which is a sin, imo. You pay a lot of money for your vehicle so why should you give free advertising to the dealer?
