Default Swapping out non HID to HID headlights

I did a search and I couldn't find the answer to this question, so please don't go crazy on me.

But I was wondering how hard would it be to swap out my non HID headlights for the HID ones. Do I just plug in the harness and thats it? Or I have to make another harness to make it work? Any input would be great. Thanks.

vAPOR21........ I think you are the one who didn't understood the question I think what he meant was if he can change his oem non HID headlights for the oem HID ones?? If that was the question I dont really know maybe the harness will be different but I think you can make it work. I think the hardest part will be that you will have to deal with the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) that comes in all IS with HID

i think you can... but there are several features you cannot use.

AFS
Auto Leveling

Since you do not have autoleveling, you can manually adjust the height of the headlamp.

I think you need schematics first.

CAIFAN 64, yes that's what I meant. I don't really care much for the AFS and adjusting it manually isn't much of a big deal to me, I just want to make it work haha.

its do-able. I would just get a kit from xenon-depot(a club sponsor by the way), and take it to the dealer or to a place that does aftermarket stuff to put it on. And if neither of those work, its still not rocket science.
