I painted mine black as well, and used the brushed aluminum stickers. Here is a pic for you..

Kamikaze, thanks for the pic, that looks like a good match. I thought about painting them red, but thought that might be a little too eye catching, especially to one of our wonderful law enforcement officers. BTW, you have excellent taste in cars .

Did you buy some and can you recommend a seller? I just did a search on ebay and came up empty.

Thought you guys would like to see how red decals look on a black onyx.
Installed them without even removing the wheels. Just exposed the
adhesive on half of the decal, positioned it, then removed the remainder
of the decal backing. This was all done through the openings of the spokes.
Sorry about the picture quality.

.

What paint did you use, did you do anything to smooth out the surface. I had mine on for a while but took them off because they wouldn't stick that good due to the surface and brake dust was collecting on the edges of the sticker, didn't look good at all.

you need to park your car, get a hose spray down your calipers and rotors to cool them off. once they are average temp to the touch u can start (heat doesn't mix with adhesive well). clean off the surface of the caliper. lay down some coats of paint if you desire, let dry. lay down ur sticker, let sit for 10 minutes. apply clear coat and you'll have some nice looking claipers. just putting the sticker on (upside down a lot of you...mind you) looks pretty crappy.

could someone repost the color choices chart for the decals? and when referring to the color of the decal, does that mean the color the "Lexus" Letters or the background of the decal? I wanted to get the decal with black background and white Lexus Letters (like shown above) so would that be a white decal or black decal? thanks

the color in the color chart would refer to the color of the decal itself...theb lack background is just the brake caliper its not part of what you are buying

It doesnt look that nice on the is250/300 brakes. I saw brake caliper fibre glass covers. Will this harm the brake?(overheating)
