That is a handy feature. I had it on my 05 Dodge Magnum RT and I do miss that on my 06 GX.

Sort of. VAG-COM is third party scan tool software made by Ross-Tech in Lansdale, PA. VW and Audi dealers use the factory scan tools; the VAG 1551/1552 and the VAS-5051/5052.

Is it VW/Audi specific?

Unforunately, the software is specific to VW/Audi (plus a few other VW owned brands not sold in the US like Czech made Skoka and Spanish made SEAT).

I wish a similar product was available for the Lexus. I miss the ability to be able to program any controller in the car with a laptop and an inexpensive package. ($229 for the basic package w/adapter)

Would be good to have:
1. IS350 w/ MANUAL/DSG
2. 3.0 L V6 (from GS3) Tuned to 6400-6800 RPM, pushing about 250-255 BHP w/MANUAL
3. HID standard
4. LED more visable
5. Get rid of amber on the rear taillights, make them all red or change the amber to white/clear
6. Give IS250/350 Sport Package throatier/deeper exhaust note
7. ON/OFF swtich for VDIM, please!!!
8. GS Sport Interior (the marble looking dark wood) would look nice on the IS interior

Even without these, still an amazing machine...well done LEXUS

Superior Dash sells a kit in this material. Its called Gray Birds Eye. Has anyone had recent experience with a dash kit? I love that grey/black wood. that the GS comes with.

While I love this car, you can always find a way to improve, so here are my complaints in no specific order:

1. No manual or coupe (yet)
2. No 1-button VSC disable (yet)
3. Amazingly soft paint, ESPECIALLY noticeable on black onyx
4. No swivelling headrests (miss my old ones on long drives)
5. No seat-down pass through to the trunk
6. Non digital gas mileage readout
7. No factory installed sat radio (yet)
8. No LED rear turn signals (from what I understand)
9. Easily scratched woon interior in non-sport package equipped car
10. No Illuminated gas cap and trunk release buttons
11. No Park Assist in center of front bumper, not just coners
12. No Change holder option instead of ashtray
13. No tire pressure sensor, just the emergency indicator
14. No turn signal indicator in side mirrors
15. No access to nav/dvd MP3 or phonebook in motion w/o hack
16. No non-high friction brake pad option (wheels get too dirty)
17. No Auto folding outside mirrors while in park
18. No heated steering wheel

All that said, would I buy this car again in a heartbeat! HELL YEAH!
