I think Rain-X might make it worse when its dry. I had something similar to Rain-X on my previous car and when it was not raining to badly and I had to use the wipers, I had really loud squeeky noises coming from the wiper blades. Try using some rubbing alchohol to clean the blades.

Please, it's a No No to Rain-X . It actually create a thin film on your windsheild and it'll be a bi@ch to take it off.

Actually, it isn't in the least. A little windex removes the rainX in as much time as it takes to clean the whole windshield.

If I regularly apply rain-x, I NEVER EVER USE MY WIPERS....I've scratched a windshield before with windshield wipers and from that point on have gone the RAIN-X route....

If you never use your windshield wipers, an application of rainx lasts quite a while... a couple weeks anyway, if not longer.

true....I'll let mine go for about a month...then if it looks like crappy weather is coming I'll re-apply.

I'm in Houston where it only rains about once a week....if that.
