Chicago Snow People talk up after huge snow storm tonight
For those with snow tires (AND NON-AWD models) that drove through the huge snow storm tonight, how did the car perform tonight? If you didn't have snow tires, you got nowhere. So let's finally get some feedback in a storm!

I'm in Barrington/Hoffman Estates (border) and we had an accident in the intersection outside of the subdivision. So, the police directed the traffic into our unplowed neighborhood. We had to get 13 cars unstuck.
There was a semi truck stuck in here until well past 2 AM, which ended up actually blocking the snow plows... we couldn't even get out of the driveway, much less the subdivision

Let it snow.
I'm in Naperville and we were getting an icy rain/snow mix when I was on the roads. My 350 felt fine on the LM25s. Left it in Snow mode and just took it easy. No problems.

Yup, 14" of snow in 3 hours in some parts.
I'm from Bufflao Grove and my A4 Quattro went through anything and everything. I want to buy a 350 around May/June and nights like yesterday make me want to reconsider. But the streets this am were perfect. Did anyone actually drive during the storm like myself?

I am from Northbrook, which I hear got a lot of snow, but I am away at school in Peoria. We only got a couple of inches last night. My BMW 328 (not stock, think M3) with blizzak snow tires is great in the snow! I was wondering if the snow wheel/tire combo I have on my 328 will fit the is350? Anyone know???

ps, As an aside, the dealer is storing my summer tires until the winters come off, and they'll do the same w/the winter tires... Good business decision, ensures that I'll come back at least twice a year for the tire exchange..
