New Poll: AWD vs RWD, automatic vs. SMG vs. manual
OK so based on my last poll, it seems like people want more choices than just AWD or manual. Let the new polling begin!
I'd take the current transmission with AWD. 306 hp should be more than enough for the extra weight of the AWD drivetrain.

I see the majority chose the SMG tranny and I wonder how many of those have actually driven one for extended period of time and still prefer the SMG. I would prefer the SMG only if there is major improvement in the future.

improvement in what? the reason its not as smooth as you may like is because its an actual manual transmission with an electro-hydraulic clutch . . .

What's all this big fuss over extra weight about AWD as an option, It's just an extra choice.
Poll didn't say make them all AWD, if you don't want AWD, stick with the lighter RWD versions . . .
