My dealer in Concord, CA told me the IS250 and 350 will be on the lot for sale by 9/26. Can anyone confirm this. Also will there be demos available to drive prior to that date as BMW did with the new 3er.

The official release date is Oct 1st, however lexus will make sure that the dealers have the cars in stock and ready, so that sounds about right. All of the dealers will get their cars on the same day.

While visiting my local lexus dealer yesterday with my wife, I learned the following:

Lexus is producing 69 IS350's for Sept for the Midwest region. I believe there are 43 dealerships in this region, so each dealer will get one, some will get two. Lexus is producing 87 IS350's for Oct for the Midwest region.

All the IS350's will be fully loaded during the intial delivery, not sure about Premium vs Performance packages. The dealers will know in early Sept exactly what is coming to their dealership.

Lexus is producing 227 IS250 AWD for Sept for the Midwest region. I can't remember what he said about the IS 250 RWD.

They probably already have 69 assembled and ready to go in California alone. I STILL have yet to see another GS430 on the road around here, and we bought the car at launch.
