is300 warning lights
Hi, hope someone can help..... I've had my 52plate is300 for around six weeks. It had not been used for the last ten days until a short journey last night... After a minutes drive I felt a judder on acceleration. The second time I felt this judder the tsc and vsc lights have came on as well as the transmission light. It seems to be running fine at the moment but the lights are still illuminated.
Any ideas???

is300 sportcross warning lights
Hello, hopefully someone can help with this........ I've had my 2002 is300sportcross for around six weeks but not driven it much. It had been sitting there for around a week until a short drive last night.... I noticed a jolting on acceleration (seemed like it was the gear box rather than the engine).
It then done it again also illuminating the trc, vcs and transmission warning lights. Since these came on it seems to be running fine.
Any ideas??

Welcome to CL.
I had a 2001 IS300 for almost 5 years, with the same drivetrain. There was a factory-issued flash-reprogramming update for some of the 5-speed automatic transmissions and their ECUs (electronic control units) for 2001 and 2002. Have a Lexus service-advisor or someone in Lexus customer service check the VIN on your car and see if it applies. if so, it should be done for you at no charge (if it hasn't already been done). That might (?) help your problem.
Even with the updates, though, these cars had a few quirks in the throttle-by-wire system and some shift-characteristics in the transmission here and there that took some getting used to.
