I am trying to find out best way to deal with our melting dash issue. Car is low milage 2003, manual trans original owner car.

around year ago started seeing the melting thing but car is garaged and we work overseas so maybe it slowed the process. Car has been garage kept most of its life until last 3 years, as far as i know no harsh chemicals were used on interior but my wife did used to have it detailed so maybe...

Does anyone have advice on how best to fix this? car is too nice to let it be like this... definitely out of warranty at this point but from what i see here this was a common issue
