Default LF Tire rubbing.

A couple months ago I bought an IS in rough shape. One of the problems was the LF wheel rubbed the lower control arm when fully cranked, although it was slight. The shocks were worn, so I got new shocks and lowering springs. Now the tire rubs the upper control arm and the wheel well liner, bad. The passenger side has plenty of clearance.

I know it is not a installation issue, as the issue was present before, just magnified after lowering. Both front tires had major inner tire wear before I replaced them. I don't visually see anything else worn or broken, and not sure what else would cause this wheel to be so far out of whack. I doubt the alignment can be so far out to cause this, and want to get whatever is broken fixed before it goes to the alignment shop.

Also, I am not driving the car, it has been parked since I got it, and couldn't be driven anyway, as the t-belt is off. Just trying to figure this out before I get it running.

Id take a close look at the steering knuckle... Given your symptoms, it is likely bent...

That seems likely. I will double check it, thanks.
