is 250 wont crank/start after battery change
hello to all , I am a newbie from Sydney NSW. I just changed my dead battery with new one .I have all functions EXCEPT CAR WONT START. no cranking not even a click . is there a reset trick ? has anyone had this problem after battery change over . thanks for replies....sleepless les

It might benefit the OP and the rest of the community to explain your very confident suggestion. Is the IS300 prone to starters failing? Is this a typical failure?
While I agree, it could be the starter, I think it's safe and cheaper to start elsewhere. Like Farva said, it could be the fuse or you might just need a liter-a-cola. I too would like more information about why the battery was changed. It might lead to something like a ground cable burning up or being loose. What all was worked on while this battery was being replaced? Do the lights dim at all when you turn the key to the start position?

hi gents , as it got dark we left it until morning to investigate further .well ya wouldn't believe it ! it started FIRST up slightly rough . turned off and started again .sweet as sugar . took it for a spin n stopped and restarted half a dozen times . all is GOOD . maybe BATS in belfry left o,nite ??? Original battery died in the freckle after approx. 6 years....work that out . thank you to all.....les
