Default Broken Window - subsequent broken power locks

My girlfriends IS300 got broken into a couple of months ago. They broke the front passenger window to get into the car. Afterwards, she took the car to the Lexus dealership to get that repaired.

About a week later, the power lock on just that one door stopped working. Obviously Lexus is trying to say that it's just a coincidence, and that it had nothing to do with them repairing that side or the window being broken.

Any opinions on this? I understand there is a chance that catching whatever broke the power locks could have gone beyond what the dealership could have done, but they are trying to charge us $800 to fix the power locks now, so I want to be sure that they are not the ones at fault here.

It could be just a coincident that the power lock broke. But the price seems kinda steep to me. What exactly is wrong that it cost that much to fix?

well while it may be coincidence have you tried pulling the door panel off to see if they left anything loose. you could also diagnose it your self and save money
