My girlfriends IS300 got broken into a couple of months ago. They broke the front passenger window to get into the car. Afterwards, she took the car to the Lexus dealership to get that repaired.
About a week later, the power lock on just that one door stopped working. Obviously Lexus is trying to say that it's just a coincidence, and that it had nothing to do with them repairing that side or the window being broken.
Any opinions on this? I understand there is a chance that catching whatever broke the power locks could have gone beyond what the dealership could have done, but they are trying to charge us $800 to fix the power locks now, so I want to be sure that they are not the ones at fault here.

It could be just a coincident that the power lock broke. But the price seems kinda steep to me. What exactly is wrong that it cost that much to fix?
