Default AUX Port for IPOD, think i found it.

Thanks to someone else on this thread, i checked out GROM audio for a integrated aux connetction for your ipod. I am buying this tonight. Take a look at it see what you guys think. Seems like it will be just a straigh aux cable running from the back of the stereo, finally

if you do some searching you can find for cheaper probably.

ebay = buyer beware.... but the reseller from the link you posted has 99% positive feedback so he's probably legit.

Oh and the one I posted is specifically for ipod,

so it will charge your ipod and you can control it from factory headunit too............

Can't do this using Aux cable.

But aux is also good because it is not limited to using only ipod.
I can plug in and listen to music from my blackberry, my ipod, and/or whatever cellphone my passengers have....

This is one PAC brand, and has 2 aux outputs and is only $79 (free shipping)
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...aPAC-TOY1.html
Don't know if it will work for 2001-2005 is300 though since i don't see it listed.
There is one for our cars and it's cheaper, but you gotta look for it.
(maybe call them and ask them to help if you are gonna order anyways)

this probably work too and is good brand name

I Have the Vaistech and it works great and sound quality is amazing. But the grom or the pac are not bad either. And if you get the one with only the ipod cable, you can buy this cable and still have aux. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ipod-Dock-Cable-...item3cb19d8116
