IS 300 needs more power..... Ideas any1 ??
I have an IS 300 and all i have on it is an intake. I feel like they could have put a little bit more power in this car and it sux that they didnt . Ive gotten pretty bored of all 218 of my horses and im looking for a little more. I would rlly like to turbocharge this thing but i have a feeling that it is kind of risky. i mean my intake makes my engine light come on sometimes so wtf will forced induction do ?!?! Any suggestions any1 ? headers? exhaust ? dyno ? what next. Ive been thinking about a new car, but i would keep this if i can turn it around a little. I know some people out there get crazy with the IS so let me know where i should start ....

Hhmm, start with a different car lol! jk Nahh you can make this things pretty quick but it takes more than few bolt-ons to do the trick from experience.
Either Go big or nothing, is all I have to say, cus I know I didn't buy an IS for power, more for it's gangster reliability & make of the car.

Sway is right...OR...you can spend the same amount of money piecing together a turbo kit and be REALLY fast. Just sayin...I live in SoCal and I'm boosted. Smog shops all over L.A. county will hook you up for the right price I spent under 2k getting my car boosted and street tuned. No problems whatsover, did all the work with a buddy of mine in my RV access. Only reason my CEL is going off is cause I only have 1 o2 sensor plugged in, and o2 sim would eliminate the CEL and I'd be driving 100% safe...But I'm too lazy to do it cause it doesn't affect the way the car drives.
