Default Is Absolute Red (AR) Difficult to Match?

Hi,

I plan on repainting my brother's car. The hood, driver side fender, both doors and quarter panel were keyed. I am planning on repainting these body parts only. Will I have any matching problems? I am going be using PPG paint. Those who have had parts painted absolute red, have you had any matching problems?

What year is the car?
You have to account for years of exposure to weather/sun...
Most good body shops blend the paint by fading it into the old paint.

The answer is real simple... go to an oreilly auto parts that sells paint. the will have a machine called a prophet. All this machine does it take pictures of the paint then goes through the millions of colors in the PPG database and finds the closest color. This accounts for the fading due to the years, Its a great machine and free. This will give you a perfect match
