45K Service
Anybody here take their car to the Lexus dealer for maintenance. I bought my car CPO back in December with just under 40k on it, my maintenance light is on and I plan to take it in. From what I understand the 1st service when you buy a CPO car is free? Maybe that is just the cost of the oil change. Either way, what have you guys paid for the 45k service?
My car is a 2004 with about 44,300 on it now, and the previous owner maintained it exactly by the book, even left the records in the car when she traded it in.
And the headlights have been working fine ever since I last posted

Just get a regular oil change. lol It's basically a rip off if you take it to a Lexus dealership for any service...but if you don't care on price then just take it there and tell them you want a 45k service. They will probably charge you around $50-80. I take mine to Toyota with my own goods and they charge me only 15 bucks. If i want my tires rotated it will be additional $20.
This is what it states in the Lexus owners maintenance manual.
o Replace engine oil and oil filter1
o Inspect engine air filter3
o Inspect nuts and bolts on chassis3
o Re-torque drive shaft flange bolts (IS 300, GS 300, GS 430, LS 430)
o Rotate tires (all models except IS 300 Sportcross)
o Visually inspect brake pads/discs
