error 1 on cd changer

is it jammed?
will it eject or load or change cd's?
mine was jammed and while i figured that i would just have to replace th whole thing i was f'in with it and got an old cd and tryied to load it and was like there was something in the way so i forced it a little and something kinda popped and then i was able to get all of the cd's back out and now i just do one cd at a time and it hasnt given me any more problems

i've never seen error 1 before ... but either way, unless you're about to go aftermarket (which i looked into once and it turned out to be more expensive than a new lexus stacker) it looks like you're going to your friendly neighbourhood lexus service department

i have this problem all the time. I have seen a couple of threads about the cd player on the IS. sometimes it's perfect, other days I want to throw it out of the window. i also think the manual talks about what the different errors mean, if i'm not mistaken.
