How hard would it be to install a factor navigation system into an IS300 that never came with one. I can definitely see where it would go (there's that little pocket for it) but I'm not sure about the hardware or complexity.

its been attempted and is very difficult to do. i was going to attempt it myself but after doing some research its a big pita

so could you just get the flip up piece, adapt a pioneer avic-d3 into it and it would be easier?

or is it still better to just use the factory 6 cd space?
