What paint code is the 01 interior silver/metallic?
I just bought a 2001 IS300, and the interior paint on the passenger side has a lot of ugly scratches...huge gaping I have no idea how they did it type of scratches. I want to restore the car to mint condition again, and this is one of the first things I want to tackle.
Does anyone know what paint code the interior grey/graphite color is? Or where I could find it.
I used to work at a body shop when I was in college, and have the equipment to paint it, but I want to be SURE it matches before I go to all the trouble to do it.
Thanks!

It's Millennium Silver Metallic in any swatch patch book. The PPG code book calls it simply silver metallic in the 01 year under lexus.
............ if you are speaking of the paint color / door jam.

i think he's referring to the interior paint color
it resembles GGP but a little lighter
(if i remember correctly, on the '01s, some of the interior dash pieces were painted sort of a metallic grey)
good luck..!

juniorsdad, is correct....
It's the interior dash that is a silver color. The car is black.
I'll just give paint matching a shot...it really can't get worse than the huge ugly scratches that are already there.

Just grab a touch up tube of black and a tube of silver. I have mixed them to create a custom color many times. Might even use a little brown.
Use the one's with the brushes rather than the ball point.
