can anybody help?
Ok we finally got my car pieced together. The custom turbo is in now and everything is put back together, then the tuning came and that's where the trouble arose.
current set up: Custom turbo, Unichip piggy back, RC 440cc injectors, 255 fuel pump... and more..
the problem is this. car started up ok, of course a lot of black smoke everything running rich. so my tuner tried starting to tune, but just couldn't get the fuel to lean out a little bit. He says the unichip is maxing out the voltage and we're running really rich, but can't seem to lean it out enough, this is only at idle. i know 440cc should be fine, because quite a few people with boost run this.
He took out a spark plug, and the tip was totally black, just burnt... i'm using the spark plug that Mo suggested.... one step colder NGK's.
now we're going to go back to stock injectors, but before i doing that i want to know if anyone could help us?? at idle A/F was running at 14-15... any idea's? is it the unichip?
