backfire or popping noise?
Hey guys, Just wondering if you guys are getting any backfire or popping noise after deceleration with our cars. It didn't do it before with oem exhaust, just wondering if we're going to get a little bit from my new joe z exhaust, or do I have a leak somewhere with my installation. Or do I just need it break in a little more. How do I check for leaks , Do I just need to ramp the car and check all the flanges for where the exhausts bolts up and check for alignment issues. Thanks

its normal from what I have read. I have a new Joe Z system to and noticed a slight pop today as I slowed down at low speed. I ran with a new Lambo Hurracan a few weeks back and his stock exhaust was popping like crazy when he slowed down.

Yup, mine does this.
It did it before when I had headers and OEM exhaust.
Now with Headers and JoeZ it more noticeable....and I like it

You can make it pop if you notice when it comes on.
For me its basically drive, 1st-2nd-3rd gear and then let the car decelerate while holding 3rd gear and you'll hear a nice pop once the rpms are low.....Love it
