Hi Gang,

I'm looking at getting a 2009 / 2010 ISF. This is a the model which has the large central rev counter in the middle.

I love the sound and the ride wasn't bad as I thought it would be.

Does this model has a mechanical LSD and has the suspension upgrade compared to the 2008 models?

Any other changes that I should know before pulling the trigger?

MY2010 will have the Torsen LSD and second of three wheel choices for the F.

MY2011 will have the central tachometer and newer instrument cluster, LED headlamps, and an updated suspension.

In truth, it depends what you're looking for in the car. Some prefer the older, more traditional instrument cluster. Others prefer the LED headlamps, which can be retrofitted if you have an older model IS F.

I believe the one I test drove today has the central rev counter and the LED day light driving lights.

Its being sold as a 2010.

Can someone verify that this model should have the mechanical LSD and upgraded suspension?

The 2014 is out of my price range!!

I'm not sure if Australian ISFs were different throughout the years. While the USDM ISFs received the mechanical LSD for the 2010 model year, the large center mounted tach in the dash and the LED daytime running lights didn't come until 2011 here. The picture of the one you posted has what looks to be a 2011 dash and headlights.

But again, not sure if things were different in Australia.

^^ what he said lol, plus the interior is all 2011... the black accents around the CF trim & the silver steering wheel button trim. + the center tach and LED lights.

it would be an MY11, I highly doubt he replaced the tacho .. lights is plausible but not the tacho..
