Has anyone experienced this with an aftermarket intake?
I took my intake apart to inspect the air filter and found this:
I bought the car with a JoeZ intake and it looks like someone tightened the clamp a little too tight. I am about to take it up to work and see what I can work out with a heatgun. I will also try to figure a way out to reinforce/seal the cracks off. Right now I am thinking a little fiberglass and epoxy on the outside of the pipe may do the trick.

I have it all fixed up now. I also noticed that whoever installed it tightened the other clamp so much it bent the JoeZ intake as well. I didn't know worm gear clamps were that strong lol
here are some pics of my repair job:
I used a rigid plastic cup and the heat gun to get the shape back, I still had a small dimple in the plastic I couldnt get out
here is the fiberglass and epoxy resin to give it its rigidity back, as well as fill in the dimple for a flat suface. I feathered the edges of the patch job to give it a good seal.

I experienced that same issue. I honestly didn't think I installed the intake that tight, as I did give it a little leeway so as to not overtighten. But it appeared to still be more tightened than it needed to be. I only found out when we were removing the airbox to install some bulbs in the headlight.
