ML Stereo + Subwoofer, sound issues due to internal mic?
Hello everyone,
I am considering adding a sub to my 08 ISF. I may do it myself, but I am nervous. After calling an installer to get prices on the install, he stopped me in my tracks with information I have not seen so far on these forums.
He told me that adding a subwoofer will wreck the sound due to the microphone that balances the sound through the car. Apparently the Mark Levinson continuously measures sound and adapts the output, and if a loud subwoofer were added to the mix, the stereo would try to compensate?
Can anyone here speak to this?

lol i had no clue about this feature.. I have subs in my car and the ML still sounds great with my 2 12" kickers
