Just went in for the recall and they told me the top of the radiator is leaking. they wanted 1k for the the replacement and repair. I said I'll think about it. lol not sure how much it is from sewell but probably will be doing them along with my spark plugs when spring comes around. I just check its $338 plus shipping from sewell for the whole radiator assembly.

That's weird, Lexus of San Diego replaced my radiator for free when they did my cooling fan recall. I'd complain.

lucky for u gene, unfortunately the dealer I go to isn't that willing to help with that. lol from the look of the thread it seems some people are having problems with their radiator. not sure what is the cause but maybe should bring this up to corporate if there is enough issue to make a statement.

Yep, you should call and point them to this thread too. Hopefully they can do a recall on this or something. Doesn't help me but other owners can sure use it. 1k isn't cheap lol

I didn’t want to start a new thread for my question.
Similar to OP, my dealer showed me a line of white crust on top of the radiator (OP’s photo marked the bottom of the radiator) as well as some crust forming at the top port connector (reference: just below part #16418 in OP’s photo).
I did a search on part #16400-38H10 and this is the lowest price I found: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Radiator-for-...f4239b&vxp=mtr (@$230.84 USD)

Question: Is this the best price and the correct part for my 2008 ISF? In another thread there was some mentioned about a revised version of the ISF radiator? Is it true?

I had the radiator fan bolts actually brake the day before I took it in for the recall. I back the car up into the garage and as I shut the door I heard a crack. I thought it was the garage door and ignored it. The next day when the car was idiling the entire car was shaking. Opened the hood and found the entire radiator was shaking back and fourth. Turned off the AC and took it straight to the dealership. Seems like the F has mild cooling issues. Better than the RCF guys who are having fuel pump issues with 1 month down times

Did the dealer changed just the bolts for you or the whole radiator assembly?

Well now I too have a radiator leak on my 2008 with approx 50k miles. Leak appears to be coming from between the core and end tanks. Have a Koyo unit going in to replace the OEM.

I think heat cycles will create this type of leak overtime. I had a koyo in my Genesis coupe and it started leaking in the same spot about 2 years later. I did do about 8 track days on it though.
