Default Diffuser got rear ended - Ideas on how to self fix?

So my rear diffuser that I barely got a month ago got rear ended. Long story short insurance won't be involved. There is no damage to the structure of the diffuser, just the clear coat that has been cracked and chipped off. My plan is to take the diffuser to a body shop to see how much it'll cost to fill in the cracks and to paint over the diffuser. Or I was thinking of filling it in myself and just sanding it down and prepping it for a shop to paint over.

My question is: Do you guys know of any brand of epoxy or resin that I can use to fill in the clear coat that has been damaged? Also, you guys have any good paint ideas for the diffuser? Obviously if I get it fixed I'll won't be able to leave the carbon fiber exposed. I was thinking of having a shop paint a thin red stripe at the edge of the diffuser, then leaving a 2nd stripe of carbon, then painting the rest of the diffuser to color match my car (obsidian).

If any of you are in SoCal (LA area) and have shop recommendations, I'll take them. If it ends up costing the same to fix as it is to buy a new one I'll just end up putting the diffuser up for sale and buying a new one.

You can see the pics here, the worst of the damage is on the right side. A lot of the clear coat was completely chipped off, so I'll have to get that filled.
You can clearly see where the coat was chipped.

Go to Auto Explosion in Gardena. They are very good. Or DTM Autobody, they fixed my old cracked Tom's diffuser and painted it black. It's on Joshleee car now. Looks great

There is way to fix Carbon Fiber I've seen it be done..The only problem sometimes it does cost the same as getting a new one.. Best bet take it to collision center and see if they can just sand it down to the CARBON and have them re-clear it with black clear coat. Its been done on my friends EVO 9 and it came out great. Let me see if I can get a number for you.. It is in Los Angeles..
