Default Heat goes off when stopped it at idle

So I got my 2010 ISF last year around this time.... I never noticed anything a possible heat problem... So basically I've noticed that when ever I stop at red lights or at idle, my heat turns cold? Temp is at high and the AC light is off too... When ever I drive it warms up again and works like a champ... But at idle or stopped it's completely cold....

Anyone else experienced this in the past? It's scaring me.... My car is certified still I believe, this problem should be covered since it's internal?

Look at your coolant level in your coolant reservoir...it is probably very low or gone.

If its low or gone, it leaking somewhere...most likely water pump.

If you are still under warranty take it in and wash your hands of it.

This could be caused by air in the coolant system.

You're going to need to bleed the air out.

Maybe you have a bad thermostat, I had that happen twice on my old gs400.

check your coolant level and also check your radiator. I had a similar issue and it ended up being the radiator was completely shot. leaks around the entire top perimeter of the radiator.

I have the opposite problem. My car always seems like it's really warm when you have the vents on the non circulating mode.

Lexus told me it's the tyranny giving off all the heat into the cabin. Is this true?

The temperature you set the car at is what the blend door will be set to regardless if the fan is on or off.

if your car is too hot, you need to turn on the fan...set your temp to the lowest and then turn off the fan.

its a bad design not being able to modify the temp without the fan being on..
