if this is like other recalls, it might be another month or two before repair parts start hitting dealerships.
interesting the 2006 GS showed up on the list for this recall. my previous 2006 GS300 already had a fuel pipe recall done back in 2007.

here we go again. When I had my slammed GS350 it had a recall , then I GOT MY LS460 and it also had the recall done. So annoying. At least they are doing something about it

Recall here in Japan.
The recall has started in Japan.
I just got a letter from my Lexus dealership here in Japan about my ISF, and I have already made an appointment with them to fix the issues.
On top of that, they are also going to replace a few other parts free (Fans, belts etc), replacing all the fluids, giving me a full tank of gas, and they are detailing my car for free as a way of apologizing.
And of course they are loaning me out a free GS350 to drive around until everything is done.
Not sure how much extra service they give at dealerships in the USA, but here in Japan, when they make a mistake, they have to go that extra mile to save face.
RAR!
P.S. ignore the location in my profile, it wouldn't let me register to this site unless I put in a US zipcode / state :P
