ISF Track Meet - E-town Raceway Park (NJ) - Sunday October 26
Alright fellow F'ers....track season is upon us. I recently put up a poll for a potential track meet @ Atco or E-town on the FB NEISF group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/NEISF), looks like E-town won the vote. The ISF track meet in November 2013 was really fun. Who's in?
Depending on who confirms, I'll set up a meetup location and we can roll in together at 10AM. If we stick together, we can probably end up racing each other, which would be awesome.
Things to bring
- Helmet (snell 2005+)
- $40 for 3 runs, more cash for food, spectators with you
- DR's if you have em
Things NOT to bring
- Lots of gas in your tank
- Spare tire
- Jack
Confirmed
Vijay (blue)
John L (silver)
Ren (blue)
Simon (blue) - MAYBE
Victor (blue)
Rich (black)
Allan (red)
Tom (white)
Dave (blue) - MAYBE

very cool and cooler of you to try to organize.I wish you guys the best with the turn out. I have never been to a drag racing track with my F. Used to do that stuff in college and it got old too quick for me to go back. Road course is more fun, but it also gets old if its always at the same track

Agree. How are you liking the 245/275 setup Garth? If I were to do a track sesh I'd def need new rubber, still on the fence regarding upsizing since it makes the car heavier, but sticking with stock tire sizes makes it lighter, but may not handle as well.

In the PSS, 245/35R19s are only 1 lb heavier than 225/40R19 (23 vs 22). 275/30R19s are 2 lbs heavier than 255/35R19 (26 vs 24). Overall that is a 6 lb weight gain, but you are getting 20mm wider rubber on all 4 corners. I'd take the extra rubber for the slight gain in weight. The 245/275 PSS tires are lighter than the original 225/255 RE050s though.
