Favorite replacement battery for ISF?

I got the biggest battery with the most cold amps and best warranty from Autozone. I HATE dealing with weak or dying batteries. The extra weight is not an issue for me. I did the same with my STi and it lasted years and worked without issue no matter how cold.

But that's incorrect. The correct size is Group 24. A Group 34 can be jury-rigged to fit, but it's not the correct size. Optima doesn't make a Group 24 Battery. See attached.
My battery is a Group 24 Bosch (sold by Pep Boys) that was rated highly by Consumer Reports. And No, I wouldn't let Pep Boys touch my car.

I wouldn't call Optima's height adapter a jury rig. A piece of 3/4" plywood under the battery would definitely qualify as a jury rig, but the Optima adapter is designed and tested by the manufacturer to meet the requirements of a stable battery installation.
I agree, it's always better if the battery is the right size in the first place, but what Optima brings to the table is formidable. I will never buy another flooded battery - it's AGM in everything I own because I had a battery spill acid all over the engine compartment in a new car when I adjusted the level to the full line. Never again with AGM!

Holy thread revival!
Curious to what batteries you guys running for those who have a slightly upgraded sound system (MB Quarts sub as an example), hard wired radar detector, hard wired dashcams and of course a cigarette USB adapter for charging phones and other portable electronics.

I'm running this: https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...ive/ag-51r-rs/
The 51R requires something to clamp it down, but it only weighs 9.24 lbs on my scale. Your application might want something with more capacity which also happens to be an exact fit.

You'll be hard pressed to fit anything high capacity in a lead/acid battery. There's not much available room, so a physically larger battery will take significant effort to fit in the available space. The only thing on your list of devices presenting a concern is the subs and that's only if you've upgraded your amp. If you just replaced the speakers, it's unlikely you'll need more capacity from the battery.
