Default Help (cold air intake recommendation)

I'm looking for a cold air intake for my 2008 IS F.

What would be the best one to get?

Welcome to the site. Many threads here. Do a search and you'll find out that they do not add power, but make more noise. Most of them eliminate the stock vacuum operated flap that opens when the car is floored.

With that being said, I have the Tadeda, the only complete after market solution that retains the secondary flap. The JoeZ intake also retains the secondary flap, but it's just an intake tube that replaces the stock tube and eliminates the resonator. Again do a search and get the complete story.

Do the JOE-Z tube and a TOMS filter. I love it!

A full CAI (K & N or Injen) will give very little or no gains, just sound.

no one else has been able to reproduce MotoIQs results, similar designed intakes actually lost power

I dont know about the article but i raced a friend, me 2008 stock isf vs 2010 isf only mod ken , we raced a lot of times to see if the intaje was worth buying , we both noted that in the mid end you can always see my car pulling away from him until high end
