Sikky header heatshield bolt problem
#2
My friend Bret had this same problem and Lexus of Tampa found a way around it with no issues during his header install. PM him at MYISF, I think he is still active but he traded his car in for a Porsche.

I have the same problem. My tech at Lexus tried to file it down but to no avail. Sikky will replace the side affected but I just don't have the time and patience to have it pulled out, sent to Sikky and then installed back in. I will just sell or trade in my car with it.

Lots of us have this issue. The general sentiment is that the bolt is unnecessary to hold the shield in place, and you can have it removed. Problem is, removing it by normal method requires dropping the engine, which is a multi-hour job. I'm going to have it removed when I get my motor mounts replaced.
