Long time follower and enthusiast of Club Lexus and the IS F. My dream car will finally be arriving in the states in a couple weeks after being built and shipped from Japan!!! Obsidian w/ Black interior, Nav/ML & Park Assist. Will post pics as soon as I get her home. Immediate mods will be tint, Takeda intake and Joe Z exhaust...need to awaken the beast, roar and growl that's subdued. Any advice on where to purchase intake and exhaust? I've found the Takeda intake's best pricing on Amazon with free shipping, but the Joe Z exhaust on L-Tuned and VIP. I'm more familiar with L-Tuned so I'm leaning towards them. Better to order online or over phone or doesn't matter? Shipping cost and time for exhaust? Any help would be appreciated from fellow forum members or especially the almighty Joe Z himself. Thanks!!!

Congrats on the new ride!!
Definitely go with L-Tuned; I have never personally dealt with VIP but they seem to have left a bitter taste with numerous members.
There are a couple of new exhaust options on the market you may want to take a look at prior to ordering the Joe Z.

Congrats on the F! L-Tuned/Carson Toyota and VIP Auto Salon are both local, so shipping shouldn't be a big factor. It shouldn't matter whether you order via phone or in person, but I will say this, Luis Salazar at Carson Toyota, who runs all the Lexus parts there, is the finest when it comes to customer service. The guy certainly cares about the community and wants to help any customer get his or her right part immediately. He's helped me out a few times.
Best of luck and definitely snap some pics when your F arrives.

I do like the simplicity of the axle backs, but most don't produce the full sound I'm looking for like the cat back systems. Need to hear that incredible 5.0 breath, but also NOT looking to drown out conversations. I know YouTube doesn't do audio justice, but for what I'm looking for: Borla is just too quiet but good $, ISS QES is too loud and high $, ISS DES is closer to sound but still high $, and Joe Z is on point with sound and $.
