I came from a 335 also. Best decsion ever!!! Nothing breaks, the power and sound are beautiful + it looks and feels like a million bucks. All things considered, id buy this car again. Its so special ill have a tough time picking my next car(Itll prob be another F. GS or IS)

I say go for it. Only thing you'd lose is the ventilated seats. I want to move from a 335 to an IS-F but some days I want a M3...I can't make up my mind at the moment.

This is a small cross section of the results when I searched "trade IS350" in the F Forum. I think this subject has been beaten to death more than once.

I went from a 08 IS350 to an 08 ISF. The 350 was a good daily driver, and the vented seats were nice. Basically it looks the same as the F in the inside, but I never looked forward to getting in and driving a car like I do in my F. After a year I still get excited every time I drive it, or just starting her up. You don't have to even do any upgrades to really enjoy this car, but the potential is there if you want to. Performance upgrades are fun, but it is addicting, b/c once you start it's hard to stop. There are still a lot of drivers out there still unfamiliar with the ISF. You'd think it would be hard to be a sleeper in an F with loud performane Headers/Exhaust but its amazing how many will still make the mistake of trying to find out whats under the hood. Good luck I hope you get a chance to get one!

I made the upgrade from the 350 to and IS-F. As long as you're fine with the higher maintenance and fuel costs just make the switch and never look back. You wont regret it.

How does the IS-F handle in rain and snow? Being RWD, I would be a bit reluctant to go from my 350AWD to an IS-F.

Though, I would LOVE to have a V8. Maybe as a second car if I can find a "cheap" used one...

Well to be honest Rain is nothing as long as you have good tires, without a set of snow tires you will have it rough in the snow, but with a set of snows and the car in snow mode...its driving like an SUV - no issues in the snow.

Its great as a daily driver also, if you use it for that, Its easy to find them with low miles also because many people baby it and to a good amount of people its their fun car not their main car so miles stay low-ish.
There is nothing (besides the LFA) that can even compare to it in the Lexus line up. There aint that much F-Sport in the world to bring the ISX50 near it. Completely different experience.

And if you get headers-forget it!

when i was considering going from my '07 GS350 to the ISF, I researched online. I also test drove the car.

not once did i thought to jump on forums and ask should I upgrade.

But that's just me.
