Laser Jammer for the F
Where is the best place the intall laser jammer on the F. If you install behind the honeycomb grill will
it hurt performance. I don't want to have to drill holes in the grill. Anyone have pictures of their install
it would help. Thanks in advance.

im good in my state. Thanks for the warning. Im going to have to put it on top of lower grill. Wires won't fit thru upper grill with out cutting.
I like it stealth behind the grill but worried it will not perform.

Are you doing laser interceptors? DON'T do the escort Z4 shifters... they suck.

LI's or nothing...
There's quite a few systems out there but the best by far at LI's and the STiR+ radar setup. Pics of my setup. There are whole forum's that are dedicated to testing, instal position and performance of these systems. Many states these systems are completely legal - but be sure to check (or understand the risk) before installing. The Laser heads in general practice must be visable to work - and you want them up close to headlights (ie shiny reflective parts where cops target lidar). Ignore my buggy bumper.. late night In my opinion recessing them in the main front grill gives you the best coverage and is the most descrete. You could skip the rear heads and still have good coverage (most lidar hits come from the front) for even more stealth. I give mad props to ERDOC - his setup is legit and who's I copied. If you do the research you'll be sold. I have very few concerns driving 'spirited' with my F. I have had several minor saves with both Radar and Lidar.. nothing puts a smile on your face like avoiding a ticket

Thanks for the installation pics guys! My brand new Laser Interceptor jammers came in, and I'm still trying to decide between Cath's setup in the lower grille (more discrete) versus Doc's/Silver's setup in the upper grille (better performance).

The larger flip switch is for power to the Laser Interceptor system - basically its on/off. General best practice is when its activated to slow down and then turn if off (allowing the cop to get a reading at an acceptable speed). If you JTG (Jam to Gun) the officer is going to know something is up - even if they are legal you may be pulled over and hassled or given a lesser ticket (tint, etc).
The **** is for bass control (rear sub). Then the control box is for the Bell STiR+.
The 2 aren't integrated - you can get the escort (Bell & Escort are sister companies) version of this system if you want one system - but the Laser Jammers arent nearly as good as the LI's. So.. Buy the STiR+ and get the best radar setup out there.. and spend the money saved for the LI's and get the best of both systems.
