It's supposed to ship on the 15th. Fingers crossed. I've already been charged and I have an invoice. I don't think they can back out of it. The discount was over $150.

I am buying the same set up. Can you tell me what website figs is and how much was the PPE
thanks

He is a vendor here. Google figs isf and you'll see his website. If the website still has 5% discount. PM him, he'll give you an additional 5% off. If not he'll give you 10% off.

Hey thanks for the answer. just was on his website.. I just had my borla installed today and am getting ready to order the headers. The borla sounds perfect to me. I was going to get the ISS forged but with the money I saved by getting Borla its like free headers.

I had the Borla rear section on my last F and I liked it quite a lot. WIth my current ISF I just installed the Joe-Z this weekend. I was very impressed with the quality of the system. Fitment was excellent and the sound is slightly louder than the Borla. At 2000 rpm's at light throttle, there is minimal drone. If you give it 1/4 to half you get some sound which some may find annoying for long trips. Nothing like seeing those polished pipes under the car though. Awesome!

Just ordered Borla cat back from summit racing. It is cheaper than every other site at $1015.00 with free shipping. Will have it in 2-3 days!

Sorry.. I did it already.. removing the bumper made it extremely easy.

To install the venturis..

1. Remove the bumper (search on the forum for this).
2. Remove exhaust hangers from the muffler
3. Loosen the clip connecting the muffler to the rear exhaust pipe.
4. Take off the muffler
5. Take a mallet and bang the venturis straight into rear exhast pipe.

The rest is just reinstalling the muffler and bumper.

Any drop in performance, any significant change in sound?

iSS will not be producing the ISF exhaust anymore. A limited run is being made and they will not be available after that!

Love my Joe Z. If you're going to only do an exhaust, I would say Joe Z. It has the perfect sound.

hey guys so I'm reading up on all this between the joe z and borla exhaust pros/cons likes/dislikes and such and i just don't know which i want to get now....i have just the muffler delete on my f and i honestly love the sound but its time for a real exhaust. i wouldn't mind the car being a little bit louder if not the same. i just don't see any talk from the muffler delete as compared to these exhaust systems. any help or recommendations as to which exhaust has the closer sound to the muffler delete id greatly appreciate....thanks guys

I had a Borla on my precious F and it sounded AMAZING. This time around I'm going to try to find a used JoeZ. Doesn't sound like the JoeZ is too much louder (I thought the Borla was perfect) and I really like the polished pipes. Adds some bling that the borla lacked

I had Borla and now I have Joe Z. Everyone from my installer to my wife said the Joe Z is much louder than Borla at least while driving around. Joe Z is louder at idle but not by too much. Personally I don't think my Joe Z/PPE Header combo is too loud but some might. I've said it before, Borla is a "wife approved" exhaust and Joe Z usually is not

I installed Borla 6 months ago and it sounds awesome! Now it's time to purchase PPE headers.
