Default Slipping Torque Converter?

Hi All,

My 2012 IS F does something kind of strange. When it is not fully warmed up, driving down the road in 8 gear the rpms seem to be a bit higher than once it reaches a certain temp. because it then seems to shift again to a lower rpm. It seems that the torque converter is possibly slipping a bit until it reaches a certain temp. and then locks up thus reducing the rpms. I don't recall this happening in my '09 F. It's not a problem but I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
