And kept everything the same. Kept the stock muffler and and everything else but took the resonator out to get a louder sound. Yay or Nay.

Yes it will get louder. People do this all the time on all different types of cars.

not sure how no resonator sounds, but no muffler and resonator IMO sounds VERY good. I get the thumbs up all the time from all sorts of drivers. When you floor it hard, it does get raspy though. But i like it

2012ISF, Just F Me's car sound sik with his res/muffler delete!! Loud and menacing!! We were messing around on the freeway a few days ago and it definitely turns heads.

What the heck Mike......I spent 30 mins on the phone with you explaining the muffler/cat delete and how amazing it sounds.... I think we need to meet up so you can hear it. These videos do NOT do justice. Greg (Lexsane) is doing it after hearing mine.

How's the drone like with the resonator and cat removed? Do you guys run straight pipes through or just take out the entire back section of the exhaust?

Here's my setup...there's a 90 degree exhaust dump right by the diff...



BTW, i don't think the drone is that bad at all. The drone in the ISS Forged exhaust is much louder.

Mine is just a muffler / secondary cat delete. Primary cats by the headers & resonator are still there.. I had my welder cut the mufflers and secondaries and weld in stainless steel pipes in place.

Just found out my resonator was removed by the previous owner. I cant compare it too stock since its the only one ive ever driven, but I can tell you the sound gets a lot of compliments. Nice deep burble as im accelerating in normal driving.

Clips are on youtube... I'll try to take one tonight before we get that blizzard tomorrow. Most of my clips are on my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/remiks3/videos but they are all me either revving or at WOT.

Best way to describe it is, at 2k RPM it's loud but tolerable at other RPM's. the sound intensity varies. If you're cruising on the hwy on level ground and you lightly rest your foot on the pedal, the car pretty much sounds stock.

Cold start sounds mean, but once its warmed up it sounds stock. It also has a nice deep burble as you take off from a stop.

That 2K RPM rattles the whole car. It's pretty bad. But that's the trade off for the good stuff.
