ISF shifts issue
Hello guys,
I'm a new member here
My friend just bought his ISF two weeks ago. It's bolts-on.
He has an issue
While hard accelerating in all modes the car some times shifts @5500 RPM
Does any body know what the problem is?

If the skid control ECU detects wheelspin on launch, it will limit power output temporarily because it assumes the road is slick. It sounds like you're spinning the tires under acceleration (or you have an issue with wheel speed sensors) and the skid ECU is stepping in to make sure you are safe in low traction conditions.

Sounds like he just isn't pushing the pedal hard enough. He'll have to push past the throttle kickdown button. When in auto, the car will always try and shift at lower rpms. Even with sport mode, if you don't pin the pedal, it's not going to shift at redline.
Or the car is broken... Haha.

Damn kick down button. I was lined up with a 335i with some mods and he stayed at my mirror. I thought I was all the way in it but I found out she had more to go and started walking. Now I just stomp it when stoplight racing
